As lifelong friends, Richard and Spencer grew up together in Summit County, Colorado.
Since the young age of 12 they have been building dirt jumps and trails all over Montana, Colorado and the Northwest region. Now, 20 years later with over 40 years of combined experience they have established one of Montana’s premier trail building companies.
Fueled from love for biking and a passion for trails, their friendship has built and enhanced numerous trail networks in many communities .
Richard’s design background fuels the build side of Integrated Trail LAB. With a Bachelors Degree in Enviromental Design and a Masters Degree in Architecture, Richard is an expert in all aspects of trail building.
His well rounded background gives him the title of “full-time dirt architect” with the ability to conceptualize and design projects on paper and carry them out as an experienced project manager, builder and operator.
Spencer has worked in the trades for over a decade. With first hand knowledge in most every area of construction, Spencer has a wide variety of acquired skills. But, his expertise lies in carpentry.
Spencer has framed and built many houses from the ground up. From concrete and foundations to excavation and dirt work, framing, trim work, cabinets and furniture, he has done it all. Spencer brings precision and accuracy to every aspect of trail building.
